American rapper, T.I, has publicly denounced boxing weight heavy champion for patronizing Gucci brand despite the “blackface” sweater backlash.
In the diss track which he calls Mayweather, a “f**k n**ga” for spending his money at Gucci.
The song which dropped on Thursday shows Mayweather as the cover art in a mocked-up drawing using the controversial Gucci sweater.
T.I never mentions his name but it is obvious that he is dissing the boxer as he said,
“Old greedy ass n***a only thinking about his self … he get the fame, he get the wealth … ya, people are struggling, who did you help?”
He also says,
“Damn, it must suck to be a f**k n***a.”
Mayweather has now responded to the diss and accused T.I of picking his struggles under the pretence of advocacy.
He describes the advocacy as fake after he mentions that artistes promote drugs and unfaithfulness but think that Gucci should be the one that should be boycotted.
T.I is leading the boycott against the Gucci brand and has asked for a boycott for 3 months.
