Multiple awards-winning songstress, Lady Gaga is the latest celebrity to speak against embattled music star, R. Kelly who is currently embroiled in allegations of sexual abuse and molestation.
Gaga who has a song, “Do What U Want” with Kelly in a statement has apologised to her fans for having a collaboration with the “I Believe I Can Fly” singer.
32-year-old Gaga made the announcement in a statement she posted on Twitter following the recent Lifetime documentary series, “Surviving R. Kelly” that chronicles allegations of abuse, predatory behaviour, and paedophilia against Kelly.
In her statement, Gaga who in times past has also been a victim of sexual assault after she was sexually assaulted at age 19, revealed that she’s standing by anyone who has ever been the victim of sexual assault and will be removing her 2013 collaboration “Do What U Want” with Kelly from iTunes and streaming services.
