IK Osakioduwa Leaves Rhythm FM After 18 Years

Popular media personality, IK Osakioduwa has announced that he has left Rhythm FM after 18 years.

He made the disclosure in a video tweet that he shared on his Twitter page last night. Osakioduwa who is also the host of Big Brother Africa, revealed that he made his decision because he wants to try out something different.

He further went on to disclose that he has no beef with the Silverbird Group, as he has a good relationship with the CEO of the company, Ben Bruce. Speaking further about his exit from the media house, he cleared the air about animosity between himself and his former employers by saying that it was quite nice working with the Silverbird group, who allowed him to venture into different media sections including TV without feeling threatened with the move.

According to Osakioduwa, he has 15 days more with the media brand, and he will be giving away N18,000 on each day of the show he features in.

It would be recalled that after Osakioduwa began hosting Big Brother Africa, he was speculated to be the highest paid Nigerian media personality.
