The 61 edition of the Grammy Awards held this Sunday, the 10th of February at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.

It was indeed a defining moment for women in the Industry as they took centre stage. While the awards saw amazing performances from R and B singer H.E.R, Cardi B among others, Michelle Obama made a surprising appearance to give a girl power.

It was also the first time that a female rapper will win the award in the rap category as a solo artiste.

Donald Glover also took home four Grammys for This is America.
