In the wake of the sexual scandal troubling R Kelly, more stars are taking a stand and lending their support for the ‘#Mute R Kelly Campaign.’
Recently Celine Dion who collaborated with the accused singer in ‘I’m Your Angel” has withdrawn the song from streaming sites. The song was nominated for a Grammy for best pop collaboration.
She is not the only one to express support for the ‘#MuteRKelly’ campaign as Lady Gaga expressed regrets in working with the star.
Chance the rapper has also pulled his song with the singer ‘Somewhere in Paradise’ stating that working with R Kelly was a mistake.
R Kelly is currently being investigated for sexual abuse accusations, claims that he has denied.
These claims of sexual assault comes after the popular’ #Me Too movement’ which has given victims of assault an opportunity to speak up about their assault and the perpetrators.
