In Borno state, suspected Boko Haram members attacked Chibok local government area on Christmas eve.
The figures are unknown but more than six people have been confirmed dead.
The attack came on Thursday, December 24, while the villagers were getting ready for the celebration of Christmas.
Some of the villagers told The Cable that about six cars and five other houses belonging to the church were razed.
According to the report, soldiers from 117 task force battalion in Chibok were mobilised and arrived at the scene after the misdeeds have been done.
