Human rights organization, Amnesty International, tweeted that at least ten people have died during the #EndSARS protests since last Thursday.
Amnesty International tweeted:
“So far, Nigerian police killed at least 10 people since the start of protests against callous operations of SARS,”.
The first identified person was Jimoh Isiaq , who was shot dead by the police in Ogbomosho, Oyo state, on Saturday.
Within Nigeria, there has been reports of the killing of a young man in Delta state. Another unidentified person was found in Lagos State, dead.
These tragic incidents have only increased the magnitude of the protest both online and in cities around Nigeria.
The protest remains divided as people are being paid to disrupt it. Northern protesters were also seen fighting for a #ProSARS.
