For a pro-athlete, model, or actor, being fit is part of the job requirement. For a pro-athlete, high fitness could mean high performance. And for entertainers, fitness could mean sex appeal which translates to more sales.
When one is neither an entertainer nor an athlete, the motivation to maintain a fit body, especially all year round, might be small. But thanks to Instagram (and social media), people have turned fitness into a full-time job.
But, beyond that, fitness is really for oneself. Beyond the vanities that are associated with it, being fit could translate to being healthy—especially internally; from reduced cholesterol, reducing the chances of cancer cells to increasing the metabolism and strengthening the heart.
Physically working out is a way to keep fit, but there is a saying that goes: “one cannot out-train a bad diet.” What you put into your body is a major factor in being fit.

This kind of diet could be unrealistic and, for many, might only be sustained for a few days or weeks.
Beyoncé’s usual diet is mostly plant-based. This means lots of vegetables and fruits. She also admitted to going on a cleanse for 14 days. A diet where she drinks a beverage made of water, lemon juice, maple syrup, and cayenne pepper.
