Meeting people has never been easier. One of the paces to meet people is on a dating site. Dating sites are platforms where people go specifically for meeting partners or casua sex.

Not all dating sites work globally. Some sites are specific to certain areas of the world. Here are datings apps you can use in Nigeria.

Tinder

Arguably the most famous dating app on this list. Like Badoo, it uses location, age, gender, and interests to show people. It uses a method of swiping left or right to reject or accept someone. And a mutual right will automatically match two individuals.

Tinder has gradually grown in Nigeria in the last few years. Boasting of users in almost all the states in Nigeria.

Like most apps, Tinder is readily available on both android and iOS app stores. It is also easy to use.

Badoo

A dating app that uses location to set people up. You can find mutual people based on gender, location, age, and interests. Badoo allows for an in-app photo rating.

It is said that Badoo has about 314 million users in Nigeria. With the majority of the users located in Lagos and Abuja.

Although its popularity has decreased, Badoo was once the most-used dating app in Nigeria.

Friendite

Founded by Emmanuel Okeke.  A Nigerian who started Friendite in order to provide a bespoke dating service for Nigerians and Africans. Friendite is yet to gain nationwide popularity like some of the dating apps on this list. Although viable, Friendite is only available for android users.

Zoosk

It uses users’ behavioral patterns to match them with users with similar behavioral patterns. Compared to Tinder, Zoosk is yet to grab the Nigerian audience. But unlike Friendite, Zoosk is available for download on iOS and Android mobiles, and Windows operating systems.
