Many people consider zodiac sign compatibility as much as they do genotype when starting a new relationship or a factor to consider in loving someone. Zodiac signs, those astrology charts that describe your basic nature or traits based on the day you were born. Lots of people believe in them and if you read up on yours, you might too because they often hold a great deal of truth about your personality.
But then comes the zodiac compatibility chart that shows you which signs you are compatible with and which you are not. To what extent should you believe those compatibility charts? In fact, do zodiac signs as a whole matter in love and relationships?
As an individual whose zodiac sign is Capricorn for instance, the charts pronounce that maintaining a relationship with signs like Aries, Gemini, Leo, Libra, Sagittarius, and Aquarius will be extremely difficult. So if you believe in zodiac signs, you will stop your heart from falling for people born between May 21 and June 21 (Gemini) and so on and only allow yourself to fall heedlessly in love with signs like Taurus (April 20 – May 21).
How effective is that? Definitely not so much because we are more than our general basic traits. Our upbringing and overall experience equally have a great impact on who we are. That is why no matter how many similarities people born under the same sign seem to share, you will certainly find a good number of differences.
Love Isn’t Perfect
Zodiac matches say you are compatible with another sign when you share the same traits and style of reasoning. But what you will discover when you ask people who are in a relationship with someone whose personality is distinct from theirs is that most of them are able to balance each other.
Entertainment Times asked seven couples who were married to signs they were not compatible with what impact astrology had on their relationships and 90% of them believe that zodiac matches do not guarantee successful relationships.
“You are the sum of your experiences, it all boils down to your love and commitment, we both complement each other, it does not matter and it helps to just predict the basic nature of the person”
are the replies that some of them gave.
“Zodiac compatibility might help you to find some similar traits in your partner but that is not the only thing, which can make a relationship successful. It requires commitment, dedication, and love from both the partners, which cannot be determined by your zodiac sign. In fact, if you truly love your partner, you will always find a way to tackle the issues in your relationship”
Said one of the couples.
That sums it up! Writing off someone whose zodiac sign is not compatible to yours may not be a good idea. Love isn’t perfect, there will definitely be issues but when you know your partner very well and truly love him/her, you will make efforts to resolve those issues without losing each other.
Zodiac signs can help you have an idea of what the basic nature of your partner is—and that’s really what you should use them for. Don’t push love away out of fear that the zodiac predictions about your sign compatibility will come true. Remember, “no one knows for sure about the future.”
