Sunday is the first day of the week, but for corporate workers, the week starts on Monday. On Monday, we go to work, we seal deals, we hold meetings, we start working on our deliverables and so on. It is important to plan yourself and start working on Monday.
Many people often overlook the importance of getting the right job or planning done on Monday. That way, you set the tune for the rest of the week. Here are tips on how to achieve a productive week.
Make A List
There is something a list does, it gives you a sense of direction. At the beginning of the week, set out your plan for the week. Write whatever you feel you need to achieve this week, add your pending deliverables too. At the end of the week, go through your list and ask yourself if you were able to check a lot of items off your list.
Put On Your Positivity Pants
Many of us are fond of doubting ourselves. We go on with our daily activities with so much negativity. This is so wrong. To get it right this week, put on your positive pants, try to stay positive.
Drink Water And Mind Your Business
To get it right this week, staying in your lane is important. Do not go about fighting people who you do not know on social media. Do not be a social media warrior hiding behind your keypads to type whatever, when you should be trying to get your life together.
Reduce The Time You Spend On Social Media
With the way most of us believe that we can’t function well without social media, this is a very difficult task. However, it is doable. Social media can limit you from getting it. You might have a list of things to do, but from just replying one Instagram comment, you find yourself still scrolling through 2 hours later. If you discipline yourself with regards to social media, you will be amazed by what you will achieve.
At the end of the week, you should evaluate your performance. If you did well, you owe yourself a large cup of Coldstone Ice-cream. Yeah, you read that right. Attaching rewards to good behavior makes you stick to the plan most of the times.
Have a winning week ahead.
