Mondays or should we say ‘Moanday’ is not exactly the best day of the week for most people because for many, it is the start of the week and it means the beginning of the week’s stress.

Asides this, people also have to face the reality that the fun and relaxation of the weekend is over and it’s back to serious business and handling responsibilities.

If you are wondering the best ways to manage your Monday blues, here are habits that you should learn to practice:

Get Enough Sleep on Sunday Night

Monday mornings are crucial and the way you start your first day of the week would go a long way in setting the mood and tone for the rest of your week. Energize yourself the night before by getting enough sleep and rest so that you are energized to face the hurdles of the new week.

Start The Day Early

Waking up early on a Monday morning is not significantly possible if you don’t get enough sleep the night before. So, first of all, make it a habit to sleep well Sunday nights; secondly, set your alarm clock at the 5 or 6 AM mark.

Aside from the fact that it’s healthy and beneficial to your health, it can lead you to your success.

Meditate

Meditations or prayers are great tools to set the tone of your week right. It’s important to quiet the mind and let the positive energy in as soon as you wake up. You can start with meditating for five minutes and overtime increase it to half an hour per session.

Such practices can also answer unanswered questions and lead the way to success.

Fuel Your Body – Food Is Energy

It’s imperative that your body is fueled with nutritious foods first thing in the morning. Healthy food provides energy and gets the mind and body ready for the day. You can start off with a fruit salad or any other breakfast meal deemed healthy.
