Veteran Nollywood actor Richard Mofe Damijo popularly known as RMD, has taken Instagram to shake a table that has many celebrities sitting on it. In the entertainment world today, plastic surgery is very rampant. A lot of stars, especially the females go under the knife to have the hourglass shape. While people like Tonto Charity Dikeh and Tokeh Makinwa are open about their plastic surgery journey, others have continued to deny doing it, even when it is crystal clear that they went under the knife.
In a lengthy Instagram post, RMD made the public understand that a woman who is secure in her looks has no urge to go under the knife. See his post below;
Having been there and done that, I can tell you for free that weight loss, weight gain, butt enlargement, boob lift, marriage, building/ buying your own house, having kids, wearing expensive clothes and shoes cannot make you happy. Mostly, the things we do to show others we are beautiful, made, tough and/ or connected are things that magnify our insecurities. A man who is secure about himself has no urge to flaunt wealth, I’m yet to see Alh. Dangote post a picture of his ‘machines’ or him ‘chilling in a private jet’. A woman who is secure in her looks has no urge to go under the knife for enhancement, think Michelle Obama. True happiness comes from knowing who you are (self-discovery) and loving yourself ‘even though…’ Anyone who can live without the validation of others is the one who has found true happiness.
Well, Tonto Dikeh made it clear that she went under the knife because she was insecure about her looks. Do you think it is bad to change how you look if you are not comfortable in your skin?
