The last James Bond Film to be released was “Spectre” in 2015 featuring Daniel Craig as Agent 007 aka James Bond (who never dies, although he has suffered some tragedies in the past). Ralph Fiennes plays “M” after Judi Dench’s character was eliminated as M in Skyfall.
The latest film to be named “Shatterhand” will be the 25th in the James Bond film series and there are rumours it would be Daniel Craig’s last feature as James Bond.
Craig who has played the character four times with the latest as the fifth, is listed as the most physical Bond yet with physical action coupled with the high tech at his disposal than any other Bond character.
His choice as the latest Bond met with backlash and disapproval as some people opined that he was not physically suitable for the role. They were of the opinion that James Bond was meant to be a tall handsome dark man. His height of 5ft 10” was inadequate and he is blond.
Production for the film was supposed to have started but was stalled after the exit of the original director, Danny Boyle.
The initial release date of the film was slated for 2019, however reports have it that it has been shifted to 2020.
The plot may be about Ernst Blofeld, the villain in Spectre who perhaps is returning for more mayhem.
