2020 has been the year of the movies. In a world of a pandemic and multiple lockdowns, people tend to turn to entertainment to pass time. But while stream services have been cashing out, the movies have not been making huge financial gains.
The first reason is due to cinemas being locked down. Most movies released directly to streaming services. And secondly, the blockbusters, from the new Bond movie to all new Marvel movies, have been postponed to 2021 to 2022.
The highest movie on the list, Bad Boys For Life, grossed a little over two hundred thousand dollars domestically. Here are the other high grossing movies of the year.
