Blow My Mind broke the record as the first music video to hit 2 million views on Youtube within 24 hours of being released. You can bet it’s got everyone talking.
Remember how Nigerians were on Davido’s case for not being featured on Beyonce’s The Gift album? Fans and non-fans alike mocked the ‘shekpe’ out of Davido for not being selected like his peers Wizkid. Some said it was due to his pride and arrogance that he missed out on making history and some others believed he didn’t secure a spot because of his ‘frog’ voice. Did Davido give any response to that? None that can be pointed to.
Apparently, the dude was busy cooking up a perfect comeback in the form of ‘Blow My Mind’ because shortly after Beyonce’s The Gift Album dropped, Davido announced that Blow My Mind will be released on July 12, teasing fans with an animated cover art depicting himself and Chris Brown with smoke puffing out of their head. Fans, of course, were eager to have their minds blown by this amazing collaboration but were they?
