Nigerian singer Paul Okoye better known as Rudeboy of the defunct music duo PSquare has revealed that he had a 10-days battle with coronavirus.
The 39-year old music star made this known in a statement issued via his Instagram page on Tuesday.
He captioned the photo he shared:
“Attention! F*ck it !!! Covid is real! I know, as a typical Nigerian or African, it’s very hard to believe. Some will say “experience is the best teacher. Oh well, the experience and the teacher has visited me,” the singer wrote.
“And they’ve been dealing with me for more than 10 days now sh*t is not funny. Worst sickness ever!”
The singer further warned Nigerians to accept that coronavirus is real and obey all health guidelines. He wrote:
“Y’all better be careful out there, if you like believe me, if you like don’t, believe me, you can as well wait for your own experience by playing ignorance Goodluck God help us all.”
Rudeboy’s illness is coming a few months after his twin brother Peter and his family were affected by covid-19.
Peter made the announcement on June 27.
“It took me a lot of courage to say this,” he said in a live session on his verified Instagram page at the time.”
