Itβs time for another BBNaija 2019 Update. Ever heard of βno good deed goes unpunished?β You probably have not and that is okay because ideally good deeds should only be met with rewards but that is not always the case.Β
During yesterdayβs eviction nominations by the Big Brother Naija 2019 housemates, viewers and contestant were left shocked when one of the housemates, Seyi decided not to use his veto power. What made the move even more shocking was the fact that he is one of the housemates up for possible eviction.
Refusing to save himself and replace himself with another housemate, he decided to leave his fate in the hands of viewers and fans by daring to face possible eviction.
However, this βbrave moveβ was not without its cost as he got punished by Biggie for refusing to use his veto power. He has since been banned from competing in veto games since he had a chance and wasted it. This brings us to the question. A wise or foolish move?
It must be noted that the housemates are currently competing for a 60 million grand prize comprising cash, a car, and other prizes. Should we say Seyi does not understand why he is in the house or is he simply cocky enough to believe that the fans will come through for him.
His possible eviction is coming on the heels of the second round of nominations that took place on Sunday, July 14. The eviction show saw two contestants come to the end of the road in their race for the grand prize as Ella and KimOprah were shown the door after they garnered the lowest votes of the five housemates up for possible eviction.
The previous week had seen Avala and Isilomo get the boot in the first week for not only having low Bet9Ja coins but also scoring low in tasks that pitted them against three other housemates up for possible eviction.
Only time would tell if Seyiβs move was a smart one or is one that would come back to bite him in the ass/. For now, all we can think is, no good deed goes unpunished.
